I have been coming here since I was a kid. We brought our kids this weekend and it never disappoints!!! The food is Amazing!!! Not to mention the free delicious cinnamon rolls to start!
The fried chicken salad was very good and glad they added dressing on the side since I forgot to ask. Husband had Chicken Fried Steak and reported it as a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5. No favor at all...needed seasoning. Service was excellent and we really appreciate the down home ambiance of Calico County. For the record, best breakfast in the city.
Food and service was great! The complementary cinnamon rolls were great and the catfish was on point. I highly recommend stopping in as they have a very large variety of menu choices.
Ruby was our server! She was amazing, patient, and just well rounded! She got our food out fast and kept our drinks full! Best service I've had in a while! We will be back asking specifically for her! Thanks so much Ruby!

Looking for a local great breakfast off the interstate. Wanted a place that would accommodate our 30' motorhome & 16' car hauler. This was PERFECT! Our server Hillaria was fantastic. She was quick to table, offering answers to wife's questions, & quick to refill coffee. I love biscuits and gravy when I travel & they didn't disappoint. Sausage had a little heat & tasted great. Gravy was delicious & biscuits soft. Ordered a side of country potatoes making my meal fantastic. Wife said her eggs were cooked to perfection, pancakes delicious/fluffy, & bacon just right. Look at pictures to see this grand meal. Cinnamon rolls were FREE!!! This is just a short distance from interstate, but 100% worth it. Inside was very nice, clean, & well set up. Staff were quick to clean tables. We got there just after opening & it filled up quickly by locals. That should say more than even my reviews. This place will be our breakfast stop every time we travel through
Before the food comes out you receive a basket of warm bread and cinnamon rolls which were delicious. I had the fried fish with cabbage and mashed potatoes - which were great. They have a huge menu selection. The service was good as well. The fried green tomatoes were well seasoned but should have cooked harder.
